Tactical Style Case with Velcro Reinforced Buckle flap for Kestrel Meters

Kestrel case review
While construction of this case is very solid, the design is quite lacking. I have decided to no longer use the case because of these deficiencies. The case is so still that it is hard to get the kestrel into it. The spare battery "tube" inside the bag is in the way and somewhat prohibits a good fit of the kestrel into the bag. The plastic buckle is overkill, so large as to impact convenient storage of the unit, and not removable. It is redundant with the Velcro closure. The material utilized is way too heavy, resulting in protruding seams that swell the size of the unit so as to make it impractical to store in small storage areas of my pack or drag bag. Again, construction is stellar, but the design far misses the mark and somewhat obviates the advantages of a small, lightweight meter.
