Description

Finally, a lightning detector that is portable, inexpensive, and easy to use. The StrikeAlert personal lightning detector uses its patent pending technology to detect strikes out to 40 miles and lets you know if the storm is approaching or departing. No wonder StrikeAlert has been featured on CNN and NBC News. Lightning kills more people on an annual basis than tornadoes, hurricanes or winter storms - so play it safe outdoors! Whether youre on the golf course, hiking or biking, or the kids are on the soccer field, use StrikeAlert to give early warning of the storm. Take lightning safety into your own hands.

StrikeAlert, by Outdoors Technologies, is a small and affordable lightning detector that provides an early warning of approaching lightning strikes from as far away as 40 miles and lets you know if the storm is coming your way.

The detector is housed in a small pager-like casing that can be clipped on a belt loop and runs on a two AAA batteries. It's perfect for outdoor sporting events and activities.

Customer Reviews
Rating Soccer Coach gives her thumbs up!
Working great so far. I keep mine on my belt during practice or games when storms are in the forecast. It starts lighting up and beeping (if the sound is turned on) way before we start hearing the thunder. Being made in the USA is a a hard to find positive. Way to go Strikealert for the great product and Weather Republic for the speedy service and answering the questions I had!
