Limited Time Special! - Purchase (1) or more and receive (1) FREE Spare Battery With Each 1000 - 3500 Series Meter Purchased!
NK developed the Kestrel 1000 Pocket Wind Meter when NK co-owner, Richard Kellerman, needed a reliable wind meter for flying his glider. Over 10 years later, it looks a little slicker, and it still gives you the reliable, accurate wind measurements that you need.
Every Kestrel Meter features a large, 1 impeller mounted on a sapphire jewel bearing, which means it starts rotating with the slightest puff of air 0.3 mph to be exact! And this unique impeller is user-replaceable, too, which means it can easily be replaced if it is damaged or worn.
If your application demands regular calibration, simply pop in a new impeller and the Kestrel Wind Meter is restored to like-new factory calibration standards. The Kestrel 1000 can easily be switched between mph, km/h, ft/min, m/s, knots and Beaufort. Manufactured in the USA!

Extremely happy with this item and Weather Republic. We use our Kestrel when we go hiking. I purchased a cheaper anemometer from another outfit and quickly returned it due to wind speed inaccuracies. Love that it's made in the USA. The 5 year warranty is great but I don't think we will need it. The blades moves with the slightest puff of air as well. Ours shipped the same day it was ordered. |
